Don’t let a dark light enter your life. It happens to me a few times since I run or exercise. But when it happens, I take out the mat or I'm going to run. Simple but always works👊🏻. Today my legs rest but I did double abs session (The reason? I was supposed to have the weekend off but I have to work😅) So I wish you a wonderful weekend and a lot of strength to those who have to work.❤️ 🇪🇸 No dejes que una luz oscura se meta en tu vida. I trained for three months to run this race. I did a half marathon in Cuba last month, but that was part of my training for this race. I went into it with no particular goal for time. I just wanted to run a smart race, run my best race, and see what I could do. I’m so proud of how I ran today. I had an amazing coach who gave me a great program that made me a better runner. Stepping out and trying something new is always difficult. Challenge is over!!! Last night was the first night in 9 weeks that I had an alcoholic beverage. It might sound like a long time but to me the weeks went by too fast. Besides no alcohol the only other thing I was strict about 90% of the time was no chocolate. This challenge was very different than anything I’ve done in the past: ❌I didn’t go crazy with foods (no cutting food groups) ❌I didn’t have to count calories ❌I didn’t have to time meals ❌I didn’t have to track macros ❌I didn’t have to use an app to track meals ❌I didn’t have to workout everyday ❌Not once I had to do cardio on a treadmill What I did: ✅Vegetables with every meal (including breakfast) ✅As per usual, drink lots of water (about a gallon a day) along with my regular tea times 🤗 ✅simply just mindful eating 🔑 ✅More sleep every night The results: ⬆️More energy ⬇️Down one size in jeans/pants ⬇️Down 4.5 inches overall ⬇️Body fat % These results might seem small to some, but to me these are big. What I learned; I don’t miss alcohol💁🏻‍♀️and I can still enjoy life. Simply put, different methods work for different people and I’m not one to judge. 45 45training #52weeksoffitnessandhealth

Plain and simple. I can stick to my goals, I can do this. I will see you all for graduation with my associates in July. I will have a high enough gpa to apply to nursing school at the end of spring semester and not be .004 away from my goals. I will get healthier. I’ve been a little on the down side this week with feeling like I was hit by emotional truck after emotional truck. As cliche as it sounds tomorrow really is a blank slate and a clean start full of possibilities. No need to wait for January 1st to make changes. awareness

to surprised herself 😳🤷🏼‍♀️ • Y’all, this was my first fully, true, no work involved whatsoever, day off since I went to Miami 😂 so i definitely planned on today being as lazy as possible— didn’t even have a thing scheduled until 12:45 pm when the gym opened— but at 10 am, I was ready to get. Shit. Done. So before I even went to the gym, an entire load of laundry was done, second load in the wash, I had gotten coffee and breakfast in my system and still had time to sneak in a few YouTube videos. Crazy that my lazy days don’t need to be so lazy anymore— my exhaustion from stress hasn’t changed, but the way I handle it doesn’t ALWAYS involve 14 hours of sleep. And that’s kind of nice, ya know? • W2 day2 of was my workout today and MAN did my biceps and shoulders feeeeeeeeel it 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I’m definitely noticing my left shoulder/ bicep struggling to keep up with my right, has anyone else dealt with that before? Lift two different weights? I want to push both arms, but what feels comfortable to my left doesn’t exactly push my right. Help ya girl out, fit fam!
